Yroli 2.0

Old formulations in new bottles …

‘Old’ is not exactly accurate, but the products are also not entirely new. As they are under continual product development, the current version always represents the best yet from Trine-Lise Buestad-Kjeldsmark and Jette Nørgaard Haulrig and their Danish manufacturer.

The two founders launched Yroli in 2018 with the goal of offering a concept that was as simple and user-friendly (and skin-friendly) as possible. Yroli advocates a skincare routine with a limited range of products, made from certified natural and organic ingredients.

And new bottles? After a lengthy process, this winter Yroli launched a new corporate identity while completing their B Corp certification.

About a month ago, Jette wrote,

A while back, I promised to get back to you when we launched the new look for our products. You mentioned that you would like to take some photos when we got to that. Well, now we are finally ready with an updated identity. We think it could be great to have our products photographed in nature.

Furthermore, we recently received our B Corp certification, an achievement that we are incredibly proud of. We love the idea of joining a group of companies that want to take active responsibility for more than just their own interests.

B Corp is a movement and a global association of companies wishing to use their business as a force for good. B Corp is not about being the best in the world but being the best for the world. Certified B Corporations commit to meeting the highest social, environmental and transparency standards. The companies must document that they are putting their words into action through an extensive B Impact Assessment (BIA). There are over eight thousand B Corp-certified companies in world, including more than one hundred in the Nordic region.

The new look includes new packaging, beautiful bottles and minimalist labels that will look good on any bathroom shelf, as always without external packaging in order to minimize the use of resources.

In her e-mail, Jette dreamt of photos of the products in nature – that will have to wait for warmer days. This time of year, I mostly shelter indoors, so instead, I photographed the products alongside the nicest-looking towels I have seen in a long time: organic cotton terry from Homehagen made in Portugal. Founded by the couple Jan Oliver Booth and Henrik Pedersen, also in 2018, Homehagen designs and produces towels, bathrobes and bed linen.
